The Pengerebongan ceremony is carried out by the local people every 210 days on Sunday wuku Medangsia (Redite Medangsia) or exactly a week after Ceremony Kuningan Day. The ceremony is held in Kesiman, east Denpasar or more details in Pura Petilan. This ceremony belongs to Bhuta Yadnya ceremony or renewal. The ceremony aims to remind the Hindus through sacred ritual media to maintain harmony of human relations with God, between humans with humans and human beings with the natural environment. The Pengerebongan ceremony begins with the ceremony Nyanjan and Nuwur. The purpose of this ceremony is to invoke the holy power of batara-batari to descend.
